Sugested method for tea preparation: immerse in boiled but not boiling water, and keep covered for about 5 to 10 minutes; repeat the procedure for two to three times, since every time the taste of the tea shall change. The ready mixes can be served both cold and hot.

Mint also has strong anti-bacterial properties within the gall system and bowels, it destroys bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics and it soothes and calms down as well as has diuretic properties. Mint is one of the commonest and most often used herbs in Poland. Mint infusion is used mainly in cases of various digestive problems, in case of stomach and bowel catarrhs, in case of insufficient presence of acid, in indigestion with appetite loss symptoms, vomiting, nausea, flatulation, stomach pains, ill fat digestion, improper fermentation in bowels, bowel colic, clenched Bowes, diarrheas, constipation and in case of a loss of pancreas operations capability. It is also used in vegetative neurosis, in migraines, and in ambulative illnesses as a calming factor. Externally mint is used for as a mouth and throat wash and as a cooling compress in case of inflammation of joints or joint rheumatism as well as in neurosis pains. Mint may limit milk secretion in case of feeding mothers, therefore it should be carefully applied in case of feeding mothers. It is not used with newborn babies, and n case of children it may be only used for a only a week.
